I love my flowers I planted yesterday.
Hopefully they live! I have to bring them in tonight, it has been raining all day and currently only 9C (48F) only to get even colder over night.
The pots originally were cheap cream pots I purchased from JYSK.
I figured the rundown front porch area of this apartment needed an extra little punch of color. I decided on a bright blue spray paint that matched the bright blue in the pillows.
While going through my picture tonight I found an old one of my table and chairs. They use to be pink!
Hows the weather where you live?? Hopefully a lot more summery than Regina!

Easter Decor and April 1st
It's April 1st, which means its April fools day! I thought about jokes I could play on my husband but nothing tasteful came to my mind. Mostly everything involved pretending Boston was hurt... really hurt.
April 1st also means, only 1 week left and Scott is done this semester :) He only has 3 more classes of his masters which are all this spring/summer but randomly through out May-August. I can't even hide my excitement. I just counted, 7 straight weeks of having Scott home before the school stress starts again!
April does bring some bad as of April 19th, I am done receiving maternity leave pay from the government. I need to go get a job...
Back to the good April 1st brings, I finally felt comfortable (there is still a few feet of snow on the ground) putting out my easter wreath my mom bought me a few years ago.
I also added a few simple spring decor around the house. I am planning to do a few more spring crafts/decor to add to the mix. I have 7 weeks to craft while Boston can be watched by his daddy... kidding(??), I really need to go get a job and not craft for 7 weeks straight (but crafting sounds way more fun that job hunting, right?).

Easter and Spring Inspirations
I am back from a long holiday to visit my family! I was amazed at the amount of snow in Sherwood Park. It's been years since I remember that much snow in the backyard. My sister and I bundled up Boston and took him outside to try and grab a few cute photos. He wasn't interested in sitting, just crawling into the endless snow.
My email inbox is full of emails... sent from myself! As I go through the blogs I follow and see something I love, I just email myself the link from my iPhone to my iMac. Then when baby is sleeping and I am sitting down at my computer, I have all the inspiration on my computer waiting for me.
Here are a few wonderful spring and easter finds that are getting my creative side all excited for the snow to go away!

My friend told me it was too early for Easter decorations... what do you think?
