Fun Day

Erin my day care lady called me Tuesday morning and she and her daughter had the flu. It was 6 in the morning and I didn't know what to do. My friend Nena watched Boston another time for me so I texted her knowing she would be up doing papers. Luckily she is the nicest lady in the word and watched Boston for me! She took this picture of Boston and texted it to me. He had so much fun at her house with her two kids. They even went to the park for a play date! Thanks Nena!!

Random Thoughts

1. Boston this last couple of weeks picked up a sentence! I am so proud of my boy. His sentence is... What's That?! He point's at everything and says, What's That? Haha.


2. Last Sunday we had some friends over for dinner. Boston has this small stuffy he has never plays with, I gave it to the little boy to play with and Boston took it right out of his hands. He then put it up to his shoulder, gave it the biggest hug and smiled the biggest smile. Acted like it was his favourite toy ever! I have a little brat on my hands, haha!


3. We are trying to teach Boston to eat with a fork. I put it off so long because our living/dining room is carpeted. It has been a huge mess and I knew once I started, he will never let me feed him again... I was right and our carpet is a mess! (I know you can get mat for under the high chair, but every time I go looking for one, i can never find one.)


4. Boston and I are going to Ontario at the end of the month to visit my brother and his family. We can't wait, Boston is so excited to meet his cousins and Uncle and Aunt. My sister is also going too. Any tips on surviving a 3 hour plane ride with a 16 month old?!?!

Happy Birthday Alyssa

Today is my sisters birthday! Sad we were not there to celebrate. But to show how much I loved her, I went and got a pedicure with 5 ladies at work!

Miss These Two Girls

These two adorable girls are my friend Liam's girls (I have shown pictures of them before!) I went over one night before they moved and the girls and I had so much fun with my iPhone. We took about 10 videos and 20 pictures! I think Liam was getting a bit frustrated with our loudness... she made us shut it down :)
And it was dark and I didn't have the flash on, so the pictures didn't turn out that great.

First Roughriders Game

My friend kristi got free tickets to one of the pre season roughriders game against Edmonton. We have always wanted to go and see what these diehard fans were all about. It was fun but cold and windy, so we left at the end of the 3rd. I will admit I did cheer for Saskatchewan, I hope my brothers don't disown me. But honestly, I wouldn't want to be beat up with a baby in my arms for cheering for the opposite team as all the crazy saskatchewan fans.

I Love Regina

We went to the farmer's market today. It was a beautiful day with our favourite family. Too bad they are deserting us next week and moving back to Calgary :(

Babysitting

Boston loves these two girls (even if it doesn't look like it in this picture).  He also loves their brother found here and here. They watched Boston for me while I went to a job interview. When ever Boston see's this family he gets the biggest smile on his face.

My lovely friend Ashley allowed Boston and I to sleep over at her place for a few days. Our boys loved every minute of it... well other than when Koston whacked Boston over the head with a hair brush :)

I Should Be Packing...

Moving day is Saturday! But only the first move... the big move isn't till September. I am looking forward to moving to out of our disorganized condo and moving to a clean neat place with TV and a couch! Two things that i have messed greatly over the last few weeks. Actually our TV has been broken for at least a month. 

I am sure everyone that cares, will be glad to know i made a decision on what colors to do my new bedroom! YELLOW and GREY! I made a few cheap purchases, mostly from Home Sense and Winners. I also bought a few things that i need to paint and do a few other things to them. Can't wait!

Scott and I got new phones, which i am in LOVE with! Scott stood in line for 6 hours to get a pair of iPhones. I cant stop playing with it and either can Scott. Scott loves the games and I love my 2do app! I love creating list after list (yes i am a nerd).

Boston and I have been hanging out with our friends Koston and Ashley lately. Look how cute they are!



This was what Boston before church on Sunday. I had a hard time getting a picture of him with my phone because he was just so happy and kept moving around! Can't believe my little guy will be 4 months on the 19th of August!

Weekend Update

Scott and I had a wonderful weekend in Sherwood Park. I love going to visit home and seeing my family and friends. Another major reason i love going away is i get to spend time with my hubby. Scott normally works every Saturday, so when we go out of town i get my husband for a full day! Friday night we had a wedding to go to. My friend Sarah got married to a really cute Australian. I didn't take any pictures, but I found this one on facebook (hope you don't mind Colette). They are a very gorgeous couple. Sarah played professional Volleyball in Europe and he plays professional Rugby in Australia. Couldn't get more perfect than that! Congratulations Sarah and Chris.

After the wedding, we went over to our friends Breanne and Jordan's house. I have only seen their baby once before this weekend, so i was looking forward to seeing cute little Avery.

Saturday was shopping! Scott loves west ed, but due to lack of money we don't go to the mall very often. I think it had been almost a year since we went to West Edmonton Mall. Scott loves his abercrombie and finch. My parents gave him an early birthday present (money) to buy something new. We decided instead of clothes (Scott barely wears causal clothes anymore because of work) he was going to buy a nice lap top cover for his new lap top he ordered online the day before.

This was his early Birthday and Christmas present from me. Scott waited for me to get home from school on Thursday night so he could open it with me. The way Scott was so excited to open the Mac book, you would have thought he was like 5 years old on Christmas day.

I have been scanning my older scrapbooks from many years ago, back when i lived in Sherwood Park! I just wanted to post some high lights of those years. I use to scrapbook all the time, right after I took the picture... what happened to those days??? 

And just on a side note, the fire alarm keeps going off in my building, it is so loud and is making me go crazy. Some people might think... well get out of your condo, but the fact it goes off and then stops for a few minutes and then goes back off, i am assuming they are just testing it (well I hope that is the problem)!
